It’s all in how you sell it.

People often ask why people do such terrible things to each other? As a Christian it comes back to how Satan deceived man in the Garden of Eden. The first thing he said to Eve was “Did God not say you cannot eat of the trees of the Garden.” It was a lie and a deceit. Eve almost responded with child like contempt. “No God said we may eat of all of the trees of the garden except the tree in the middle of the Garden and that if we eat of that tree we will certainly die.” See what the devil was doing here. He planted a seed of doubt in Eve’s mind about the character of God. Then in a masterstroke he pounced saying “You will most certainly not die, for God knows if you eat of the fruit of the tree you will be like God, knowing good from evil.” So he persuaded Eve by misleading her about the character of God and the consequences of disobedience. Eve may not have died physically that day but she died spiritually and set the scene for the death of all creation on Earth.

 

The model of deception the devil used on Adam and Eve is the same one he has used on all of mankind right down through the ages. He led mankind to the flood, to the Tower of Babel, to the worship of false gods and infiltrated God’s people to lead them in to paganism and away from God. He infiltrated the Church from the start and all the time he targets important parts of the faith and raises a man up to insert a false truth to lead believers in the wrong direction and away from God. 

 

It is no surprise then he has developed an opposing narrative to the Word of God in societies across the world and down the timeline of man’s history. That where God has said “I am the Lord your God and you shall have no gods before me.” Satan has said “Worship which ever God’s you see fit, so long as you worship me.” Where God has said “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” Satan has said “Only the fit shall survive.” And “Do as you will and let no man stand against you as you kill and plunder and wreak chaos on the World.” 

 

So it is when we see the terrible atrocities inflicted on innocent lives by others. Crimes which really have no logic in them. Evil done for the sake of wickedness. We can know that as Jesus said in the parable of the Tares and the Wheat. An enemy has done this! The very means Satan has used to dupe and deceive humanity is founded in lies and deceit. The art of salesmen-ship. It is definitely what he says but it is also how he says it, that makes men believe his lies. Lies like “One race is inferior to another.” or “Disabled children should be killed in the womb.” As our Lord has said “He was a murderer from the start.

 

So why do people do wicked things to other innocent people. Because Satan has feed them a diet of lies and innuendo. He has mixed in hatred and brutality along with a spirit of rebellion to destroy the peace and safety of the world. So today more than at any time in the Church Age. It is as it was in the days of Noah. The hearts of those who hate Yahweh Elohim seek only wickedness continually. The reason? Well it comes down to the actions of the most malevolent salesman that Creation has ever known. It’s all in how you sell it.

What You Can’t Say

There is a Noam Chomsky quote that says it all for me. ““The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum....”

 

So you can’t say that “The attack on the Twin Towers was a collusion within the American government.”

 

You can’t say that “Bill Gates is engineering virus’s as a part of a plot to reduce the World’s population in the face of resource poverty and climate change.”

 

And for that matter “That Climate Change is a lie created by the global elite to engender an environment to fast track a globalist World Government.”

 

You can’t say that there is “A movement to create a World Government that is a collusion of the global elite and a plethora of Luciferean Secret Societies.”

 

You can’t speak out by saying “Pagan practices like yoga and meditation are a part of mediumism and the occult.”

 

Folks really start to get angry if you say “God judged Christchurch NZ for the support that they have given the Wizard for all of these decades.” or pointing out that “The people of Christchurch didn’t come together to thank God after the September 4 2010 earthquake where there was no loss of life.”

 

You dear not quote Romans chapter one by saying “Homosexuality is an abomination before God.” for fear of prosecution under hate speech laws.

 

Obviously there are numerous other issues you dare not speak out against in this secular socialist society in which we live. It seems that Mr Chomsky is correct that there is strict control of the spectrum of acceptable opinion. So much we can’t say.

Being A Christian - The OS

I was reading a comment on a Facebook post this morning. The person made the statement that “She used to be a Christian but wasn’t one now.” Quite a lot of people flirt with Christianity and then drift away as life happens. Anyway it made me think about my own life as a Christian and what Christianity is really about?

 

Christianity is similar to a computer Operating System. In the Christianity model people are the hardware. As with most operating systems Christianity is meant to operate the hardware in an orderly and efficient manner. Christianity is not the same OS that the first humans had as Adam and Eve were created perfect and were in perfect harmony and union with God. Then an enemy inserted a virus called sin into the original OS and the system crashed resulting in humanity operating as separate modules using the flesh operating system. They were separated from God and their operating systems were ravaged by the sin virus.

God issued various patches to address the sin issue like the Law. It wasn’t until He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to bear the sin of the World on the Cross at Calvary that God was able to begin to restore the system to it’s original state. Where man is in harmony and union with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection God was able to cleanse the sin virus out of the humanity and reboot to the original operating system. A person has only to believe, have faith, in Jesus Christ that he paid the price for their sin and they are cleansed and restored to a personal relationship with God.

The restoration of the individual operating system doesn’t happen all at once. It happens over our life time as we begin to recognize the sin fortresses that we are still holding on to and surrender them to God. God also sent the Holy Spirit to live in us and to administer the process of restoration in out hearts and minds. The Christianity operating system is focused on restoring us to communion with God.

Now I want to double down on the point that Christianity is meant to restore us to a loving relationship with God and we are meant to be good and righteous people living good and righteous lives. Many Christians dig up a bunch of worldly junk and attach it to their version of Christianity. They make religion out of it and seek to blame folks and pretend to know what God thinks as they assure other’s that God is judging them based on their interpretation of scripture and so fourth.

Christianity is about you and your relationship with God. If you believe on His Son, Jesus Christ, you will not perish but will receive eternal life. If you ask Jesus to come into your heart he will begin a process of restoration as the Holy Spirit reveals His nature in you. He will cleanse you of sin and remake you a son or daughter of God. That’s the purpose of the Christianity operating system. To renew and restore you to the original state putting you into constant communion with God in Christ Jesus.

The Sin Continuum

I don’t know how you feel but I’ve really been wondering of late. Just what motivates the decision making of our leaders. I can’t understand the love affair that secular politicians have with Islam. They just can’t bend over far enough to accommodate them. Even though Islam is so conservative as to make conservative Christianity seem positively pliable.

 

Anyone who knows much about Islam understands that the religion has absolutely no compassion for the position of women in society. Islam is completely intolerant of gay issues and other religions. It has a program for the conversion of nations into caliphates which takes the long view in terms of achieving dominance over the centuries that it takes to establish its position into one of control.

 

To warm to Islam is irrational and at the very least unwise if you intend to retain some form of freedom and democracy. So why has this irrational and unduly emotional attitude that seems to pervade politics and the media in the West become the dominant agenda. Any form of conservative comment on secular issues is shot down in the media and those responsible are made the victims of intense character assassination.

 

The government are quick to threaten hate speech laws if there is any intolerance toward their political darlings. The LGTBQ movement, the abortion law reform bill, the euthanasia bill, feminism or any attempt to point out a lack of morality on behalf of the Liberal Progressives in general. With Covid 19 even the press are not immune from bully boy tactics at the Prime Ministers office. Interestingly this censure does not apply to Islam.

Thinking back to my parents generation they wouldn’t have tolerated any of the current liberal thinking. They seemed to understand the danger of the shifting of societies moral compass. They noticed things going on around them and were not slow in expressing an opinion about something that they suspected wasn’t right. Family members frequenting places that were known to be dens of iniquity. Folks who were into tarot reading or seances were noted and generally avoided. Even in those days though there were liberal people who cried foul when those who were participating in drunken cavorting and carousing or occultism were called out for it by conservative folk.

 

Fifty years on though the secular and liberal progressive agenda has taken the dominant position and claimed the moral high ground. You are immoral if you find any fault with someone who is doing whatever they want. Regardless of how wicked the thing that they are doing happens to be. It doesn’t matter if its LGBTQ, abortion or euthanasia the global elite are going to protect their darlings from righteousness and a sound moral code whatever the cost.

 

So how can we make sense of this crazy, irrational and morally bereft agenda that the progressives are attempting to foist upon the world. I think the easiest way to describe it is to think of a continuum that stretches from the glory of God and all that is righteous on one side to the sinful wickedness of Satan and the fallen angels in their darkest evil unrighteousness on the other side. Now where the mark on that continuum used to be well toward righteousness and God in the past.It has moved on a global scale toward evil and unrighteousness today.

 

The result is that where we had a conservative majority in the West fifty years ago. We now have a liberal progressive majority today. Where rational thought, sanity and righteousness were in abundance then. Irrational thought, insanity and unrighteousness are in abundance today. Whereas the unrighteous couldn’t truck with the right minded in the past we find that we the righteous can’t truck with the wrong minded in our time.

 

If you find yourself wondering at the decisions that the politicians make and the promises that they don’t even seem to try and keep. Election lies every election cycle. At some point you have to wake up to the truth. A truth that says they are they are not failing to keep those promises because they can’t or because they are seemingly incompetent. They are not making bad decisions because of circumstances that make a decision the only one they could make. No! They are making them because they don’t think the same way as you do and the decisions they make are right in their sight. Proverbs 14 verse 12 says “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”

 

The ruling elite are on the wrong side and the End of the Age is fast approaching. The time forecast in God’s Word as a time of judgment that if it were not cut short no one would survive. So my conclusion dear friends is that all of mankind needs to Repent of their Sin and in the name of God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, ask that He forgive them and make His place in their hearts. The bible says it is given for all men to die once and then the judgment. You don’t want to face the Second Death when it is too late to change your mind. Too late to repent.
